Don't get me wrong, it looks supercool and it's a significant departure from what we usually see from the genre. My thoughts are around the vulnerabilities of having a hover unit as opposed to the walker when it comes to mid/late game in multiplayer. There is nothing about this commander unit which indicates it can enter water and remain submerged. Hover units tend to float on the surface. Given the often used tactic of sticking your commander in a deep puddle when games enter the lethal period, is this going to be a significant drawback for the EDA Commander?
Will there be something to counter this obvious weakness such as cloaking shields or similar? What would you suggest could be used to mitigate this strategic weakness in the EDA Commander?
