I've been thinking about the potential for different biomes in Sanctuary. It's an artificial planet and the builders/settlers can do what they will with it. But what kind of environment would represent each faction?
EDA.
I imagine either vast urban sprawl or some kind of 40k style Hive City. Or even some sort of paradise? Isn't that was Sanctuary was designed to be? A paradise for humanity? The EDA would be the most obvious faction for the quintessential human-style environs.
Chosen.
The Chosen are digital humans and they want an efficient and cold Sanctuary as that is what assists their computer matrixes. I'm thinking either snow maps, or cold deserts, or even base metal. They spend their time inside computers. I don't see that aesthetics appeal too much.
The Guard, as Sanctuary's builders would exist on EDA style maps (as they built the landscape in the first place) but I also imagine seeing areas still under construction. So areas where there are rents in the sphere which are still being built.
What kind of areas would you like to see?
