Crab walkers legs

I'm new so please forgive if I'm making dumb suggestions, but would it be possible to upgrade their legs to be jumping, tunneling, even defensive depending on the situation?
 
devs said some walkers will be able to climb terrains. tunneling is a no go, we don t know anything about jumping and defensive bonus is also no go
 
The game is still being developed so there is still time for improvements and suggestions to be taken on board.
